Same old polictial B.S.

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Yet again Congress shows it doesn’t matter whether it is controlled by the republicans or democrats, the only thing that matters is big business.

Congress just passed another farm subsidy bill to cover more types of agriculture. We are talking about 290 BILLION dollars!!!

Why? So multi million dollar farmers can make even more money all under the guise of helping to keep food cheap. What kills me here is this, where do they think the 290 billion is coming from?

I’ll tell you, our pockets! It is all just a facade. Yup food is cheaper at the time you buy it but after getting bent over by the tax man, the price of food isn’t so cheap anymore.

Now who is one of the biggest backers of this bill? Nancy Pelosi, who owns massive farms and is the 15th richest member of Congress, will profit from this bill through her husband. The income producing assets of her family are in her husband’s name. Pretty slick!

How slimy can people be? Well I am pretty sure that is obvious now.

Our government is corrupt on both sides of the political coin and before we run around the world telling other countries how they should do things, maybe we need to clean the crap out of our own countries’ government first.

Between Bush and Cheney and of course this Congress, we have no room to speak to anyone about how they should do things.

High gas prices are killing our economy

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Today our moronic president had his little speech where he calls for Congress to pass bills to allow drilling in Anwar to help the rising fuel prices. I hope no American was stupid enough to believe this crap.

It takes years to explore, find, plan, build the refinery, drill and then process the oil so this “it can help us with fuel prices” is total B.S. It is yet another way that scumbag Bush and Cheney (oil mongerer and haliburton crony) can yet make even more money down the line. They are gone this year how else will they make millions when they are out of office?

Look we need to stand together and say enough is enough. The only reason our government doesn’t actively pursue technologies like water cars or even air cars (more on these to come) is that they haven’t figured out how to tax it. There can be no other reason.

In France and Australia they developed engines that run on compressed air. The only exhaust being clean air. This is all a reality now so why don’t we pursue this? Check out the videos of the engines here: France Air Car and the Australia Air Car.

Now if you aren’t drooling at the thought of being able to fuel your car with air you can generate from any tiny compressor including those we use to fill our tires now (you know the ones that plug into the cigarette lighter) then you soon will be.

How about a car that runs on water. It is true. A man developed a way to use electricity and water to create a gas that burns clean and can run any vehicle. You can see the news report here for the Water Car.

We should not be held hostage to a pump. Whether it be gas, ethanol, hydrogen or whatever. There is no reason for it. The water car technology broke 2 years ago and supposedly our government was interested in it but do we hear about it? No. They can figure out how to tax it. How do you tax rain water?

We need to contact our legislators and ask why they aren’t pursuing this instead of sending out a measly $600 while we spend $150 to fill our gas tanks. If we let the rest of the world become the leaders in the wave of combustion less engines than we will find even more US companies closing up with more jobs lost overseas.

We need to take the helm and be the country to change the world. Contact your local legislator and tell them to get to work on this right now not later!

A call to censure the President – It’s not enough!

Tuesday, August 7th, 2007

I’ll admit I was pleased to see that someone in our government was finally standing up to the Bush administration. But in my opinion it isn’t enough.

Yesterday, Senator Russ Feingold and US Representative Maurice Hinchey introduced 2 censure resolutions into the House and the Senate.

The following comes straight from the US Senate website, see it here

“The censure resolutions regarding Iraq, S.Res.302 and H.Res.625, condemn the president and vice president for:

· Misleading the nation about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein’s regime and about Saddam’s links to al Qaeda and 9/11

· Inadequate planning for military action in Iraq

· Overstraining the military and undermining homeland security

· Misleading the nation about the strength of the insurgency

The censure resolutions regarding the rule of law, S.Res.303 and H.Res.626, condemn the president and attorney general for:

· Authorizing the illegal NSA warrantless wiretapping program

· Pursuing extreme policies concerning torture and the treatment of detainees

· Detaining enemy combatants indefinitely without charges, access to a lawyer, or habeas rights

· Unilaterally authorizing flawed military commissions that were subsequently struck down by the Supreme Court

· Misleading Congress and the public about, and obstructing investigations into, the firings of U.S. Attorneys

· Making misleading statements regarding civil liberties abuses under the Patriot Act

· Undermining acts of Congress with signing statements based on extreme theories of executive power”

I do applaud them for bringing all this into the forefront BUT we should do more. If a fortune 500 company hired a new CEO and within 6 mos to a year he starts to run the company into the toilet do you think they would say “we have to keep him for 4 years”?

No way! They would fire him and replace him with someone who CAN do the job. Why shouldn’t our presidents have to live up to the same standards. Bush and Cheney have trampled the Bill of Rights and our Constitution, they have made us more hated throughout the world then ever before, they have lied to get us into a war so they can profit…they are criminals.

As such, we should hold elections THIS NOVEMBER and remove both of these idiots from office ASAP not next year; furthermore, we should then arrest these men for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Let the courts deal with those two since they would be private citizens. The president cannot be above the law and needs to be held responsible for illegal actions.

Maybe a little waterboarding will get Bush and Cheney to come clean ;)

We need to stand up together and say enough! You can read more on this story at http://feingold.senate.gov/~feingold/releases/07/08/20070806censure.html

Alberto Gonzales if that is your real name..

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Has anyone else seen this man lie in hearings over these attorneys they fired and all of the covering up they have done?

I have never seen anyone lie so much or so bad before in my life. He says something that totally implicates him and the next minute he is trying, badly, to lie his way out of it. He loves the “I don’t recall” and “I am not sure” and “I wasn’t informed”, anything he can do to keep this mess from being brought to light.

The saddest thing of all is that this criminal (he has lied under oath repeatedly) is our countries’ Attorney General!!!!! I have to ask HUH?

Of course the Bush administration supports him because he was doing their bidding to begin with AND they are all liars as well so he is in good company.

This lowlife, along with the rest of the Bush administration, are some of the biggest scumbags to ever walk the face of this earth.

Bush Administration plans to sell weapons to Arab Countries

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Once again the Bush Administration is up to its’ old tricks. Now Bush and his slimy administration is trying to push through billions in weapons sales to Saudi Arabia and 5 other Arab nations.

According to the Washington Post “The administration plans to sell advanced satellite-guided bombs, fighter aircraft upgrades and new naval vessels to six Gulf Cooperation Council countries, including Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman, U.S. officials say.”

None of these countries involved in this unbelievable transaction are friends of the US. They might want our money from oil sales but most have done nothing to assist us in stabilizing the region.

You would think after mistakes like, arming Saddam in his fight against Iran and Osama in Afghanistan plus the countless other things our government has done in the guise of “National Security”. Everyone of those actions has come back to bite us in the ass time and time again, yet here we go again.

According to the Washington Post “Members of Congress vowed yesterday to oppose any deal to Saudi Arabia on grounds that the kingdom has been unhelpful in Iraq and unreliable at fighting terrorism. King Abdullah has called the U.S. military presence in Iraq an “illegitimate occupation,” and the Saudis have been either unable or unwilling to stop suicide bombers who have ended up in Iraq, congressional sources say.”

Thankfully, Congress is not just rolling over for the President but don’t count ‘Lil Bush out. He has figured out ways to trample the Bill of Rights and the Constitution over and over again during his reign of terror and I wouldn’t put anything past that little scumbag.

The real question here is, which one of Bush or Cheney’s friends will benefit from these sales. Answer….Many of them including Bush and Cheney themselves. There is no other good reason for throwing fuel on a major fire.

Adding more volatility to an already volatile region is just plain asking for trouble. We are already hated in this region, why make it any worse? Do we WANT to get attacked?

Take the time to write your congressman and voice your disgust about this mess. We cannot let Bush arm more nations that hate us just so he and his cronies can make a buck or I should say billions of bucks.

Bush sold his soul long ago and now he is trying to sell ours as well.

Paris Hilton – How pathetic..

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

I am just sickened by the special treatment Paris Hilton has been receiving in California in regards to her well deserved, recent incarceration.

The fact is she got a DUI and then violated her probation. The fact she was only caught driving again and not DUI doesn’t make it any better. She committed the crime and has to pay the same way anyone else would.

The fact she is acting like the brain dead pathetic person she is, well is her problem. If she doesn’t eat because she doesn’t want to get caught on film on the toilet (this is the girl who had a hand in releasing her slimy sex video), then let her go hungry.

I applaud the judge throwing her back in jail, maybe this will show her that just because her parents are loaded it doesn’t mean she has a free pass to do whatever she so chooses.

This day and age, too many times money and how much you contribute to campaigns, decides whether you are “above the law or not”. Well I don’t care how rich you are , no one is above the law period.

California better be careful on the precedents they set. One day they could come back to bite them in the arse.

Immigration reform Woes

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

It seems that this very hot topic is going to stay hot for quite a while. No matter what legislation they come up with someone is going to be pissed BUT I say if there has to be someone who gets screwed it damn well should be the ILLEGAL immigrants.

Just as the name implies they are criminals who have lived here and not followed one rule to enter legally. They come to the US and work without paying one penny in taxes and if they have children they are automatically excluded from deportation.

Now we have our country with millions of criminals from another country, who pay no taxes, cannot properly follow laws and don’t even bother to learn English.

I asked an illegal immigrant working on a house near my area of Texas, about why so few Mexican illegals living in the US learn the language. He stated that they don’t want to adopt the American heritage they want to keep their own.

Now this pissed me off, no one said they have to give up their Mexican heritage but for pete’s sake out of sheer courtesy they should learn to speak our language. The other thing is the no taxes thing; there are millions of children of illegal aliens in our school systems whose parents never pay ONE DIME in school taxes. So who foots the bill? Mr. and Mrs. America!

No reform better come down from the Government that grants ANY type of amnesty. They are criminals and should be deported and penalized for their past transgressions against the US by entering and living in our country illegally.

Now as for those who have popped out children to stay here, should have to leave with their entire family. People say it isn’t fair because the children are Americans but I say any child born to an illegal alien should NOT be granted automatic citizenship so therefore is NOT an American but a child of criminals illegally in our country.

I know this will piss off some people but too bad, it needs to be said!

Philadelphia’s murder rate

Sunday, May 13th, 2007

So far this year, Philadelphia has averaged one murder every day! The last count I saw was something like 137 so far this year and the question is, what is going on in Philadelphia?

Is it something in their water? Too many power lines? Is it all the mayor’s fault?

The answer to this could be a combination of things; like bans on Tasers, stun guns and concealed weapons permits and the mayor :) .

D.C has some of the same restrictions and they have been consistently the murder capital of the US until Philadelphia came into contention.

Of all the places to emulate DC wouldn’t be the best choice when it comes to law enforcement. I don’t mean to down the officers themselves as I haven’t looked through to see if there were a lot of complaints against the police but something there is NOT working.

Now what scares me is some of the ideas they have to change this crazy murder rate around in Philadelphia like the stop and frisk policy. This can have some serious opportunities for misuse by the police and could lead to many civil liberty violations.

Maybe it would be better to allow law abiding citizens to carry pepper sprays, stun guns and Tasers openly to show they are prepared to defend themselves and since it is non lethal defense it shouldn’t even be at question.

What kills me is when states or cities like Illinois or Philadelphia decide to restrict non lethal self defense weapons under the guise of protecting us from the criminals. How exactly does you making it a nightmare or even completely impossible to protect ourselves help to keep us safe?

I have said it before and I’ll say it again. A criminal can use anything to commit a crime from a screwdriver to a baseball bat. If we don’t restrict EVERYTHING you can never stop them from getting something to use for their crimes. So the next best thing is to allow and teach the law abiding citizens to protect themselves using non lethal self defense.

MOST criminals are wusses and don’t want to get hurt so they look for “good victims”. The less people that fit this bill the less crime we would have. I say make it a very painful experience for anyone who commits a violent crime against you and I’ll bet the crime rate will go down fast.

If you live in a city or state that restricts, Tasers, stun guns or pepper sprays or any other non lethal self defense weapons, contact your local legislator and tell him/her you want the right to defend yourself back!

Three Cheers for Vermont!

Saturday, April 21st, 2007

Yesterday the Great State of Vermont passed resolution calling for the immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq AND best of all the Impeachment of Bush and Cheney!!!

I am so very proud of the good people of Vermont for standing up for what is right and I applaud you! If your state wasn’t so damn cold I would move there tomorrow!

I truly believe they have done the right thing and now other states need to follow suit and pass similar resolutions. It is time for someone to put a leash on Bush and Cheney.

For god’s sake we impeached Clinton for having sex and as far as I am concerned Bush and Cheney both have screwed the American people amongst others!

Well done Vermont!!
